“Quiet on the set. And…ACTION !!!”    While you watched Roy Rogers ride Trigger on TV as a child, Cynthia Royal was on the Hollywood set with her mentor, watching it being filmed.  Today, this internationally acclaimed 'horse guru' and California native relates to horses in a way that can only be described as ‘WOW!”   Whether for the camera or a live audience, Cynthia says, “Performing with multiple horses dancing freely around me or asking a 1,200 pound horse to charge me on command and rear up on its hind legs, hooves flashing only inches from my head is the ultimate thrill!”   It’s also proof of what’s possible when a partnership is built on trust, connection and positive experiences, demonstrated by the relationship she shares with her horse Blanco, who starred as Shadowfax in the blockbuster Lord of The Rings movies.

While Cynthia has a gift for training animals, it’s her exposure to traditional classical and natural horse training - both based on physical or emotional domination – that’s led to her life-long study of why all creatures do what they do and how to foster the best relationships possible with them.  With the realization forcing each other to conform isn’t the way one being should relate to another, Cynthia decided to offer a sweeter 'carrot' of sorts, rather than wield a bigger stick...a choice that’s had amazing results.  So, whatever your goal with your horse, Cynthia shares how to have the trusting, connected and fun relationship you've always dreamed of…without getting kicked, bitten or ignored!
